Objective
To create and execute an innovative and collaborative industry event during Climate Week NYC, coinciding with the 79th United Nations General Assembly to bring together leaders across sectors—business, government, philanthropy, and innovation—at the intersection of climate, sustainability, and circular economy solutions. The event aimed to foster bold collaboration, inspire action, and catalyze new and existing partnerships that could drive real, impactful change toward a regenerative future.
From Creation to Execution
Concept Development & Planning
Phocus Creative Group collaborated with Regeneration.VC to develop the concept for The ReAssembly, a powerful platform designed to inspire collaboration across sectors like biodiversity, climate, and circular economies. From strategy to execution, Phocus Creative handled every detail. Managing various agencies and partners through out the entire production process ensuring the events success. From initial branding to venue, partner, speaker and sponsor relationships - we ensured every piece of the puzzle worked together to bring the team’s vision to life.
Phocus Creative Group also collaborated with Something Media, an independent creative studio whose branding and creative strategy is rooted in principles like collaboration, seeking perspective and making the world a better place. Each partner for this event was consciously selected based on their alignment with the content and values of the Regeneration VC team and their vision for the ReAssembly.
Event Highlights
The event kicked off with a Women Moving Markets session, engaging over 70 female leaders in a closed-door discussion on how capital markets can drive regenerative growth. Throughout the morning, sessions led by Fashion for Good and Grey Swan Capital focused on transforming apparel supply chains and scaling regenerative agricultural practices in the U.S.
Dynamic Programming & Speaker Excellence
Alongside Regeneration VC, we curated an impressive lineup of speakers, from Dr. Vanessa Chan of the U.S. Department of Energy to Nat Simons (Sea Change Foundation) and Niklas Adalberth (Norrsken). These sessions explored key issues such as public-private partnerships, decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors, and activating capital for nature-based solutions. We also hosted Runway For Change: Fashion, Finance and Impact, co-hosted alongside Ambition Loop, PANGAIA and the UN High Level Climate Champions. In the afternoon we orchestrated breakouts with partners including Orrick, Cruz Foam, SuperOrganism, Sound Future, Overlay Capital and more, covering topics like sustainable aviation, circular supply chains, and climate finance. Each session was designed to deepen relationships and foster long-term business collaborations among participants eager to activate their capital in impactful ways through collaboration and idea sharing regarding areas of untapped potential for change-making though investment.
Evening Programming & Networking
The day transitioned into an impactful evening, featuring a keynote by Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, followed by the Lotus Awards presented by Savia Ventures. The night concluded with vibrant networking opportunities and a special acoustic performance by Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers, adding a touch of entertainment to an otherwise high-powered business gathering.
